Built for the 1992 winter Olympics, La Tania is a beautiful, peaceful spot set in the heart of a pine tree forest with pretty chocolate box chalets and a traffic free centre.
The La Tania gondola is just 150 metres from our chalet, and is the fastest lift out of the resort. Once at the top of this lift, take the Dou des Lanches chair to take you to the top of the Courchevel and Meribel Valleys.
The 12-person gondola lift is also available for pedestrians and a great starting point to explore the Courchevel Valley. If you are not keen on walking too far simply take the lift to the top to enjoy the spectacular views from the Bouc Blanc restaurant terrace which can be found at the top of the lift.
To ski back to the chalet, take the Moretta Blanche piste, which brings you within metres of the chalet.
La Tania has all the amenities you need on your doorstep, with a supermarket, post office, tourist office, Delicatessen, Boulangerie, choice of restaurants ranging from pizzeria to local cuisine to fine dining (Le Farcon has a Michelin star), ski shops, ski schools and bars all within walking distance of the chalet.
Travelling around is easy with a free bus service that links all the resorts within the Courchevel valley. Running from morning until midnight, the bus is a useful alternative to the lift system should you find yourself stuck in the wrong part of Courchevel when the lifts shut!
For après ski, whether it is a tranquil chilled out atmosphere, or a lively fun night out you want, there are bars to suit all tastes.
Should you have the energy or inclination to go out of La Tania at night, you can take the bus to 1300, 1550, 1650 or even 1850 and sample many of the bars and nightclubs on offer.
Your driver is also available for evening outings, this service can be booked and paid for in the resort.
